The way in which organisations obtain and store your information will change on May 25th 2018 to comply with new EU regulations.
We only store information that is absolutely necessary for us to perform our duties as a regulator for dance examination organisations and awarding bodies
All information is held under strict confidential conditions protected by both password and high-end software and security.
You have the right to see what information BDQT holds on you for a fee that is considered reasonable by ICO regarding GDPR.
You have the right to ask BDQT to remove any or all of the information held on you but in doing so, you may risk your membership being cancelled.

There is a necessity for BDQT to store information/data on its members to be able to carry out its duties and we therefore store the following information on you as a member association:
Name of organisation, address of registered office, email address, telephone & mobile number, names & addresses of secretary and/or directors, previous business activity with BDQT such as comparability studies, professional qualifications and minutes of meetings.

We share your information with the following organisations to be able to run an efficient and professional service:

ACCREDITATIONS
If you have availed yourself to our "Accreditation" system, you have offered this information to BDQT to consider granting you an accreditation and in doing so, have requested for the relevant accreditation information to be posted onto the BDQT register of accreditations.
TEACHERS/SCHOOLS/COLLEGES REGISTERS
To appear on the aforementioned registers, you will have entered the information onto the register yourself and BDQT will have checked its validity before confirming your place on the register.
